Checkout limits: Kindergarteners - 1 book 1st - 5th graders - 2 books
3rd-5th graders can also check out magazines.
We have a wonderful e-book collection also that can be accessed from our home page by clicking on the Follet e-book link.
Students can check books out during their weekly Media lesson or from 7:30 - 7:50 am or 11:45-12:15pm on approval from their teacher. We love to watch our students become avid readers!!

We have a fixed computer lab used for media classes and a flexible computer lab where teachers can take their classes for projects, to practice skills, and for various activities. We are also privileged to have three laptop carts available for teachers to use with their classrooms.

Our mission is to teach the learner to seek, evaluate, and apply information from traditional and technological sources and to develop skills that will help prepare them for the 21st Century. We strive to make the LCES Media Center and Computer Labs user-friendly facilities with a positive environment for all students. It is our desire for students to enjoy coming to the Media Center and Computer Labs to learn.
