As a NC Teaching Fellow, I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from East Carolina University in 2003.  After teaching for a few years, I went back to school and earned my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2008.

I am certified to teach all subjects in grades K-6, reading in grades K-12, and English as a Second Language in grades K-12.

This is my thirteenth year teaching in the Randolph County School system.  I have taught fourth grade, been a math specialist, and am now serving as a lead teacher/curriculum support instructor.

I was born and raised in Randleman, NC, so I am very familiar with the community that we serve at Level Cross Elementary.  I keep very busy outside of school with my husband and three children (ages 4, 6, and 9).  When I do find time for myself I enjoy working out, playing sports, and reading.
