Unity Day and Red Ribbon Week 2021

Red Ribbon Week

Unity Day and Red Ribbon Week 2021

October brings a lot of events to Level Cross. For starters, October is National Bullying Prevention Month. To show our support, students and staff are encouraged to wear orange on October 20th in honor of Unity Day. This is a day set aside to show kindness and acceptance as well as send a message that no child should ever be bullied.

The last week of October is Red Ribbon Week. The mission of Red Ribbon Week is to keep kids drug free. The theme for this year is Drug Free Looks Like Me. We will be having a different theme each day and encourage students to dress up to show their support for a Drug Free America.

Monday, October 25th - Proud to be Drug Free (wear red to kick off the week)

Tuesday, October 26th - Turn Your Back on Drugs (wear your shirt backwards)

Wednesday, October 27th - Outsmart Drugs - Use Your Head (wear a hat)

Thursday, October 28th - Follow Your Dreams and Be Drug Free (wear your pajamas)
