I was born and raised in Randolph County. So you could say I have been in Randolph County Schools my entire life. After graduating from Eastern Randolph High School I attended UNC-G. I graduated in 1998 with a BS in Elementary Education.

I started teaching first grade at Randleman Elementary that same year. I stayed in first grade for two years before I moved to fourth grade. I moved to Level Cross at the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year. I am proud to be a Level Cross Lion!

In December 2016 I received my Masters in Library and Information Science from UNC-G. This school year I start my 12th year as Media Specialist.
