Happy New Year! Parents, please use the Here Comes the Bus app to track your child's bus. Also, be mindful of the 10 minute window before and after your scheduled pick up/drop off times. We are so excited to welcome students back tomorrow, January 2nd.

Just a reminder... Tomorrow, Friday, December 20th will be an early release @ 12:45. Please be sure to make arrangements for pick up, and bus riders, for an early drop off! **ALL K-3 students must have an adult visible at the bus stop! Happy Holidays!

The early release day on Friday, December 20 will mark the beginning of our Winter break. Students will return to school on January 2.

Exciting Musical Performance! Mrs. Walker, our music specialist, has the students buzzing with excitement for their upcoming show. These talented performers have worked diligently in preparation and are eager to warm your hearts! This Old Gingerbread House will be on stage for one night only. Come support our LCES Lions on December 12, 2024 at 6:00 PM. Don't miss this special performance!

We are so proud of our Second Grade Care graduates. It was a wonderful ceremony with a special guest speaker, Sheriff Gregory Seabolt. Thank you for taking the time to come speak with our students.

Due to the inclement weather and road conditions, all schools will be closed today (12/3/24). As a result of this decision, today (12/3/24) will become an optional teacher workday.

It's hard to believe the holiday season is upon us! We are so excited to celebrate with our students. We will be celebrating the "12 Days of Christmas" with themed dress up days! Our dress up days will begin on Thursday, December 5 through Friday, December 20. We encourage staff and students to participate to spread JOY and HAPPINESS with one another during this holiday season! Day 1 (12/5): Wear Camo! Day 2 (12/6): Wear a Christmas shirt! Day 3 (12/9): Wear festive socks! Day 4 (12/10): Wear antlers, Santa hat, or any fun headwear! Day 5 (12/11): Wear your light up Christmas accessories! Day 6 (12/12): Wear red and white! Day 7 (12/13): Dress like an elf or wear red and green! Day 8 (12/16): Dress like Santa! Day 9 (12/17): Dress like one of Santa's reindeer! Day 10 (12/18): Dress like Cindy Lou Who or the Grinch! Day 11 (12/19): Wear your ugly Holiday sweater! Day 12 (12/20): Wear your Christmas pajamas!

Today is World Kindness Day! The goal is to make kindness a standard, not just an expectation! Students are learning what it means to spread kindness to others! In a world where you can be anything, be KIND! As always, it's a great day to be a LION!

World Kindness Day is celebrated on November 13th! World Kindness is an international day, formed in 1998, that is celebrated annually. Level Cross will celebrate by wearing BLUE or any attire that promotes kindness on November 13th! In a world where you can be anything, be KIND! REMINDER: There will be NO SCHOOL for staff and students on Monday, November 11th in honor of the Veteran's Day holiday!

Our Kindergartners learned about voting and why we vote. Then they voted on their favorite ice cream flavor.
