Lion Families,
We are excited to celebrate Autism Acceptance Week at our school March 30th-April 2nd! This special week is a time for us to learn, grow, and show kindness as we recognize and celebrate the unique strengths and differences that make each of us special.
Autism Acceptance Week helps us understand that everyone learns, communicates, and experiences the world in their own way—and that’s something to be appreciated and respected.
We encourage students and staff to participate in our spirit days (details below) as a way to show support and acceptance:
💙 Monday: Neurodiversity Day- Bright colors or tie-dyed from your head to your toes!
🧦 Tuesday: Sensory Friendly Day- Wear comfy clothes!
🤝 Wednesday: Autism Acceptance Day- Wear RED!
🌈 Thursday: Team Day- Wear our school colors (burgundy and blue), a school shirt, or your School Autism Shirt!
Families can support Autism Acceptance Week by talking with their children about kindness, understanding, and celebrating differences. Together, we can build a school community where everyone feels valued, included, and accepted.
