Lion Families,
We are excited to celebrate Autism Acceptance Week at our school March 30th-April 2nd! This special week is a time for us to learn, grow, and show kindness as we recognize and celebrate the unique strengths and differences that make each of us special.
Autism Acceptance Week helps us understand that everyone learns, communicates, and experiences the world in their own way—and that’s something to be appreciated and respected.
We encourage students and staff to participate in our spirit days (details below) as a way to show support and acceptance:
💙 Monday: Neurodiversity Day- Bright colors or tie-dyed from your head to your toes!
🧦 Tuesday: Sensory Friendly Day- Wear comfy clothes!
🤝 Wednesday: Autism Acceptance Day- Wear RED!
🌈 Thursday: Team Day- Wear our school colors (burgundy and blue), a school shirt, or your School Autism Shirt!
Families can support Autism Acceptance Week by talking with their children about kindness, understanding, and celebrating differences. Together, we can build a school community where everyone feels valued, included, and accepted.

She makes a difference every single day by supporting our students, families, and staff with compassion and care. We are so grateful for Ms. Gilbert!

We want to congratulate Jennie Hyatt, Teacher Assistant at Level Cross Elementary School for being named Fox 8 Educator of the Week! We are so proud of you and appreciate all you do for the Randolph County School System!

A massive shoutout to our amazing Battle of the Books team. Your hard work, teamwork, and passion for books paid off. You represented our school with intelligence, enthusiasm, and heart. We’re so proud of each of you! We are excited for the District Competition in March!

This week, we proudly celebrate the amazing bus drivers who safely transport our students each day with care, patience, and a smile. You are often the first friendly face our students see in the morning and the last one they see in the afternoon — and your impact matters more than you know.
Thank you for keeping our Lions safe, building positive connections with our families, and helping each school day begin and end on a great note. ❤️
Level Cross Elementary appreciates you today and every day! #BusDriverAppreciationWeek

Thank you for your support of our school system!
